‘Allo,
Firstly, we wanted to thank everyone who came to the Newcastle gig on Saturday night – it was a really special one for us and a pretty emotional evening, hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
Following on from this we can actuarily announce our first gig of 2012…. it will be at the Borderline in London on the 7th February as part of the HMV Next Big Thing extravaganza. It is a pretty small venue so should be an energetic and intimate show, alongside our good friends General Fiasco!
Tickets cost £10 and are available here. It’ll be our last London show until April in Scala so get yourselves along!
Finally, a little cheeky reminder that our EP is out on iTunes this week, AND also keep checking the facebook as we’re giving away some special items for Christmas to help raise dollar for Shelter.
Take care,
Matt, Mickey and Rob

hey everyone, i know we have an EP out this week but we’ll be starting our 12 days of christmas tomorrow (this year’s advent calendar). any questions please ask, day one will be tomorrow (14th) and we’ll announce it at 8am… x PLEASE READ THIS>>>> http://www.justgiving.com/Little-Comets
It’s very cold this morning…
….so we thought we’d send you a quick email about our last proper gig of the year. There are only 6 shopping days left before the gig at NORTHUMBRIA UNIVERSITY on SATURDAY 10th DECEMBER and you can get your tickets HERE…
We’ve been rehearsing the new songs so it’ll be pretty exciting to play them back home. The last gig in Newcastle was really special so hopefully this one will be as good.
Just in case you can’t come we thought we’d let you know that we’ve designed a new little t-shirt for Worry which you can have a look at by following this link…
OK that’s all, no doubt we’ll bother you later in the week about the EP release and that
x
….And the nights are drawing in like well worn strings, we thought we’d give you a little reminder of things on our general horizon:
WORRY EP
This cared-for collection of songs gets released on the 12th December and you can order it from HERE. It’s recently been added to the 6 Music and MTV playlists so hopefully you’ve managed to hear it round and about. If not then the video is >>>>>> HERE.
Also, we’ve made an acoustic video for the B-side HIS THUNDER. Shot in a tunnel under the Tyne, it’s quite a poignant tale of domestic abuse.
For musicians like us on little labels every single expression of your love is crucial. We enjoy creating songs and playing live and really rely on your support to do that, so if you like it please give it purchase.
LIVE DATES
These are listed below but the current one looming is the NEWCASTLE date, our last headline show of the year, at NORTHUMBRIA UNIVERSITY on SATURDAY DECEMBER 10th. You should be able to follow this LINK to buy tickets…. The day before we’re playing at KOKO in London for the NME giant xmas party, so head down and see us if you are southern or London-centred.
Also, our April tour is now on sale. We were pretty overwhelmed by the last run of headline dates so help us make this lot even more special (bleurgh haha):
Apr21: GLASGOW Oran Mor (t)
Apr22: MANCHESTER Academy 2 (i)
Apr23: LEEDS Cockpit (c)
Apr24: BIRMINGHAM Academy 2 (k)
Apr26: LONDON Scala (e)
Apr27: NORWICH Arts Centre (t)
Apr28: BRIGHTON The Haunt (s)
A LITTLE BIT MORE
Keep an eye out for this year’s advent calendar starting in the obvious place. It’ll be less work intensive for us but more prizeful for you.
Thanks-a-lot
Father, Son, Holey Spirit

‘his thunderrrrr’
I’m a mat and I still retain
Accumulated stories of the tawdry years
I’ve been stamped out by rum-fuelled boots
The brute, us hiding under stairs.
Waiting for his thunder to hit
Waiting for his thunder and thinking is this it?
Waiting for his thunder to shout
Waiting for his thunder to tire itself out.
So I lie flat, in sheets worn thin
By his sublimations that reside within
For I’m the truth, the two in ten
That suffer at the whims of the weakest men.
Waiting for his thunder…
Each bruise I use as a chronicle of all that you gave me now
And every scar a reminder of the power that you had
The saddest part about the darkest hours
The implication that the fault was ours.
Waiting for his thunder…
We specifically chose the 8th November to make this announcement because it is Sam Sparro’s birthday and we obviously have such an affinity with him and music of that ilk. Happy 29th Sammo.
Anyway, sorry for the delay from yesterday but sometimes a mixture of tardiness and disorganisation runs too close to our front door. Matt and Mickey have fixed it now, so we can announce the pre-order link for the little “WORRY EP” ————- here. We’d really appreciate it that if you like the songs you would legally download this. For artists on independent labels like ours every single sale really impacts upon our ability to continue to function as a creative* unit.
The tracklisting is as follows:
1.WORRY
2.WAITING IN THE SHADOWS IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT (any long titles like?)
3.HIS THUNDER
4.WORRY (demixed live from a back garden)
5.FIGURES (we know it’s a little old but people have asked for it, plus we want to keep back some tunes for the album
)
Also: our friend James Booth made a classy little montage of clips from our recent October tour which we’re going to use as the video for WORRY. If you spot yourself you win a non-claimable prize… please watch it and share it here ———————-
Thanks a lot,
Peter, Steve, Ellie, Jo, Susie, Christine, Wilbur, Tilly, Chuck, Jamie and G-Dans.
